The wardrobe notebook
Find the fit.
Make it yours.
A practical starting point for choosing dresses and trousers. Size names alone do not tell the whole story; ask us for the measurements that matter to you.
Start with a garment you like wearing.
Lay a comparable garment flat and measure it without stretching. For a dress, note the bust, waist, and overall length. For trousers, note the waist, hips, rise, and inseam. Tell us how you measured so we can discuss like-for-like measurements.
If using body measurements, keep the tape level and comfortable rather than tight. A close-fitting column and a relaxed trouser need different amounts of room. The XS–XL options are selection labels, not a universal measurement chart.
Before ordering: ask for product-specific measurements, fabric details, and whether the fit you want is achievable in your selected size.
Let the silhouette set the direction.
- Wrap dress: consider the waist placement and overlap as well as the overall length.
- Column dress: think about ease through the bust and hips and the footwear you plan to wear.
- Gathered day dress: compare the bodice fit before judging the volume of the skirt.
- Wide-leg trousers: check the rise and hem length; a closer-fitting top can balance the shape.
- Tailored or relaxed trousers: compare waist and hip room, not just the label.
One strong detail is a good start.
Cobalt and coral can be the focal point of an outfit. Keep the supporting pieces quiet if you want the color to lead. Butter yellow offers a lighter starting point; ink, ivory, and cocoa trousers can anchor a more expressive top.
Before you add a piece to your bag, name two things you already own that you could wear with it. Consider your outer layer, bag, and shoes as part of the same decision.
Care follows the actual garment.
Read the garment's care label before washing, drying, or ironing. Do not assume that two similar-looking pieces use the same fabric or care method. Ask for care information before ordering if it affects your decision.
Use storage that supports the garment's shape and avoid prolonged direct sunlight. Check a new care method on an inconspicuous area only when the label permits it.
A clear request makes the next step easier.
Select a size on the product card, add the piece to your bag, and review your quantities at checkout. Sending the request does not charge a card. We confirm availability, delivery costs, and payment details directly.
For sizing questions, include the product name, the size you are considering, and your comparison measurements. Please wait for a reply rather than assuming a size or delivery date is confirmed.
